Rooms and Comfort
Cala Luas Resort offers 170 rooms spread over two levels on four hectares, near the sea. Rooms are decorated in a Mediterranean style and include air conditioning, TV, phone, safe, and mini-bar. Bathrooms have a shower, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Room choices include Standard, Superior, and Central Building types. Standard rooms are 14 square meters for doubles, 18 square meters for triples and quadruples, located in the upper part of the resort, some with wood ceilings. Superior rooms are richer in furnishings, almost all located in the upper part of the resort, almost all have wood ceilings; some share terrace access, others a patio or garden. Central Building rooms are closest to the sea, swimming pool, and restaurant, furnished in Sardinian style, mainly on the ground floor with access to porticos, gardens, or terraces. Room sizes are 14 square meters for doubles and 18 square meters for triples. Quadruple rooms may have a bunk bed. All rooms have Wi-Fi and outdoor furniture: a table and two chairs.
Dining Options
The resort's restaurant has panoramic views and serves a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with sea, land, and vegetarian options; drinks are included. Breakfast features a buffet of continental and English dishes with sweet and savory items, coffee, fruit juices, pastries, and bakery products. For younger guests, meat and vegetable purees and vegetable broth are available. The Pool Bar, open from 9:00 am to midnight, and the Beach Bar (high season only) serve coffees, hot and cold beverages, soft and alcoholic drinks, juices, ice cream, and snacks.
Leisure and Activities
Cala Luas Resort features a swimming pool and a private beach 200 meters from the main building, accessible via an internal driveway lined with palm trees. Beach volleyball and canoes are available. A playground is available in the garden. Entertainment includes sports activities, tournaments, daytime and evening shows, a Mini Club for children aged 4 to 12, and a Junior Club. Guests can explore nearby attractions such as Cala Biriola beach (accessible by hiking trail or boat) and Cala Goloritzè beach. Other excursions include the Cave of Su Marmuri in Ulassai, the Trenino Verde, and the Staircase of St. George. The resort has a futsal field, tennis courts, and table tennis.
Location and Access
Cala Luas Resort is 100 km from Elmas Airport. Nearby landmarks include Domus de Janas Beach Resort (4.5 km), Alberto Loi Winery (3.5 km), Sa Perda Pera (3.5 km), Torre di Barisardo (4.5 km), Chiesa Di San Paolo Apostolo (3.5 km), Torre di Bari (4 km), and Monte Arista (3.5 km). The beach can be reached along an internal driveway surrounded by palm trees.
Services
The resort includes a compulsory Club Card (€7.00 per day per person, ages 4 and up), which includes a beach spot with one beach umbrella and two sunbeds from the second row, use of the swimming pool, sports facilities, sports activities, tournaments, daytime and evening entertainment, a Mini Club (4-12 years), and a Junior Club. Beach/pool towels are available at reception. Other services include a bazaar, laundry services, private parking, and pet allowance. Food allergy needs are accommodated, if advised to reception before 7:00 pm the previous day. Breakfast hampers can be collected at breakfast or at reception before 7:00 am. Guests can fill out a form indicating the port of departure, car length, and desired accommodation.
