Push the doors of Château Tilques, our 3* hotel near Saint-Omer. The present castle, built in 1891, replaced an old 17th century manor house and is a superb example of neo-Flemish architecture. Of the old buildings, the outbuildings at the restaurant, in the hotel annex, and an arm of the moat at the back of Château Tilques can still be seen. The hotel offers 26 rooms in the castle and 24 more contemporary rooms in the Pavillon du Parc. A private car park equipped with Tesla and universal electric charging stations is also available.
Rooms and Pavilions
The Comfort rooms (13 to 18 m²) are located in the Château. The charming rooms (15 to 20 m²) are located in the Château, and offer unique decoration. The Luxury rooms in the castle feature generous and bright space, while the 24 Luxury rooms of the Pavillon du Parc (4 of which are accessible to people with reduced mobility) feature a lounge area and large bay windows opening onto a terrace with a view of the park or the undergrowth. This room category offers a surface area of 21 to 35m². The Junior Suites, renovated in 2020, offer 38 m² of comfort and refinement and a breathtaking view of the park.
Vert Mesnil Restaurant
At the Vert Mesnil restaurant, the chef offers market cuisine concocted with carefully selected local products. The restaurant is housed in the 17th-century outbuildings of the Hôtel Château Tilques. On the menu, grilled meat, fish or vegetables to satisfy all palates. The dishes can be enjoyed in the dining room or on the terrace, which is open in season. The restaurant welcomes you for lunch from 12:00 to 13:45 (Friday to Sunday) and in the evenings from 19:30 to 21:30 (Tuesday to Saturday). Guests from outside the hotel are welcome. On Sundays and Mondays from 7.30pm to 9pm with the menu of the day.
Leisure and Well-being
After a day of study or conference, take advantage of the soothing countryside and leisure facilities such as the indoor swimming pool, bowling green and tennis court at Hôtel Château Tilques. A wellness masseuse offers a wide range of treatments and massages designed to soothe both body and mind. A giant chessboard is available on the terrace of the bar. The pool is open every day from 7.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.
