Keur Saloum is in the Saloum Delta, approximately 200 km from Blaise Diagne International Airport. It is surrounded by a 7-hectare park, located between Kaolack to the east, the Gambia River to the south, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and Joal to the north. The hotel overlooks the mangrove and a large sound, near Ile De Dionewar. The UNESCO-protected biosphere reserve is mainly inhabited by the Serere people.
