Hotel Le Chalet has 31 rooms. Guests can choose from single rooms (13 m² with a 100-cm single bed, shower, and toilet), double or twin rooms with a 140 cm or 160 cm double bed, or two 90 cm beds. Some rooms feature a balcony. Family rooms (25 to 33 m²) accommodate 2 to 4 people with a 160 cm double bed and two 90 cm single beds. Some rooms are decorated in a traditional chalet style, while others blend styles. Rooms include a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, complimentary products, a direct telephone, and a hair-dryer. Certain rooms offer loggias with views of the Massif du Vercors. Apartments are also available, ranging from 2 to 8 places, with unique decor.
Dining at Le Chalet
The hotel features a restaurant recognized by the Michelin Guide with a 'Bib Gourmand', serving cuisine. Chef Christophe Prayer creates dishes with local produce, including homemade duck foie-gras, lobster chartreuse, and Dauphiné ravioli. A selection of wines complements the meals. Guests can dine in the dining rooms or on the summer terrace. Breakfast is served buffet-style with pastries, warm drinks, fruit, yogurt, homemade jam, cold meats, cheese, and eggs; it can be enjoyed in a room with a fireplace or on the pool terrace.
Leisure and Well-being
Hotel Le Chalet offers a range of activities and facilities. Guests have access to a heated and covered summer swimming pool, a sun lounge, a tennis court, and ping-pong tables. For relaxation, there is a relaxation area with a jacuzzi, a sauna, and a hydromassage shower. Access to the spa area is available for hotel guests and those who book a massage (20€ per person for 90 minutes, including towel and bathrobe).
Location & Access
Located in Gresse-en-Vercors, Hotel Le Chalet is at the foot of the Grand-Veymont mountain. The hotel is 95 km from Saint Geoirs. It is accessible via the A51 motorway towards Sisteron. From Monestier de Clermont, follow directions for 'Grenoble' or 'Balcon Est'. The hotel is 15 minutes from Monestier de Clermont and 40 minutes from Grenoble. Lyon and Sisteron are less than 2 hours away. By train, take the TGV to Grenoble, then a train to Monestier. A shuttle bus connects Monestier de Clermont train station to Gresse.
