Uroa Bay Beach Resort features 135 rooms including Sea Front, Sea View, Garden View, and Family rooms. Decorated in a Zanzibarian style, each room has a private balcony. Rooms include king or twin beds upon request, mosquito nets, air conditioning, fan, safe security box, minibar, satellite TV, telephone, and internet connection. Some rooms feature a veranda overlooking the lush garden and ocean. Family rooms consist of two interconnecting double rooms, air conditioning, a small refrigerator, and a TV. Each room has its own private bathroom with a shower and bidet.
Tanzanian & Local Food
The Uroa Bay's restaurant offers a selection of Tanzanian and local food, alongside Occidental dishes. The Rafiki restaurant serves international cuisine. Guests can enjoy cookies, fresh pastries, juices, and coffee.
Beach and Activities
The resort has its own private beach. Coral reefs near the East Coast are suitable for snorkeling and scuba diving. Kite surfing is an option. Guests can choose treatments at the Wellness Centre or in a makuti on the beach. A hot tub and massages are available. Other facilities include a tour desk and a tennis court.
East Coast Location
Uroa Bay Beach Resort is located on the East coast of Zanzibar, 45 km from Kisauni. Zanzibar Island occupies approximately 650 square miles. The location is near six stores and a few resorts.
Services & Accessibility
Check-in is from 3 PM to 10 PM. Check-out requires full balance of the stay. All meals and drinks (soft drinks, beer, wine, water, local alcoholic drinks) are included. Adapters for foreign sockets are available. The hotel is fully wheelchair accessible, including beach access. A conference room is available for business meetings.
